The supplier raised the price of backpacks, but the price list still has the old one. And the margin melts away until someone notices.

In the automatic pricing settings you choose what the cost is calculated from, whether prices include VAT, the apply mode and the threshold below which a price is left alone.

You set a mark-up rule for a group, brand or supplier: accessories plus thirty-five per cent, ending in nine. Below you immediately see an example on your own products.

The wholesale price list is calculated from retail minus ten per cent: when retail changes, wholesale follows.

You submit a goods receipt from the supplier: backpacks went up, hats went down. After submission the receipt shows an "Automatic prices" mark with links to the repricing documents.

The repricing shows what it was, what it will be, the change in per cent, the margin and the calculation step by step: cost, mark-up, VAT and rounding to nine.

Case one: the purchase price went down. Price increases are applied straight away, while the decrease goes into a separate draft for approval, with an explanation of why.

In the draft you remove a line you do not need, leaving the wholesale price as it is, and submit the rest.

Case two: the umbrella has a sale price. It is locked in the product card, in the "How the price was calculated" window, so the repricing skipped it, and this is recorded in the document.

Case three: the rule was wrong. You cancel the repricing, and the previous prices come back. Prices that someone changed after it stay as they are.

The "Price margin" report shows products below cost and prices that deviate from the rules. Prices keep up with purchase costs, and the decision on discounts stays with a person.
Automatic prices from purchase cost
Mark-up rules by group, brand and supplier, retail, wholesale and dropshipping prices are calculated automatically on each new receipt: VAT, rounding to "9", repricing with approval and rollback, a margin report.
Area: Sales and shipping. The module is switched on and off for each company separately, with no per-seat licences.
